A successful website has three factors in regard to its design: it should be easy to navigate, it should function the way you want it to, and it should be pleasing to the eye. We thoroughly understand these principles and develop our clients' websites in accordance with them. Each web design that we do is unique, as it is customized to satisfy a client's particular needs. We create both static websites (sites where the content changes rarely and involves manually adjusting the code) and dynamic websites (sites where the content changes or is updated regularly through interaction with the website users or administrator).
Our web designs are flexible to accommodate updates and modifications with minimal to no change to the existing code. Clients may choose to modify the designs themselves or may contact us to make the changes for them. We offer hourly pricing for small updates.
Web Development Technologies
There is more than one way to build a website for a small business. Although the standard building block for websites is HTML, there are also other technologies that may be used to create the final product. These may include server side programming languages, client side scripting, content management systems (CMS), and/or other ways to enhance user experience. Our web designs may include any of the following:
- Coding/Scripting using HTML 5, CSS, PHP, and/or JavaScript (JS)
- CMS such as Wordpress, Joomla, or Drupal
- Shopping carts such as Magento, Zen Cart, CubeCart and osCommerce
All of our websites are built to be W3C compliant. They are interoperable on any web browser including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and Safari. Additionally we can develop websites that are specifically designed for use with mobile phones including Android and iPhone.
